Day 1 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Departure in the morning from your hotel in Marrakech to Ouarzazate. You cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass located at an altitude of 2260m. Before entering Ouarzazate, you stop at Kasbah Ait Benhadou, where you visit the old village (listed as a UNESCO heritage site).
You continue towards Ouarzazate where you stop for lunch then we visit the Kasbah Taourirte In addition we will visit the cinematographic center of Ouarzazate, Hollywood of Africa. The adventure begins in Ouarzazate; the city of cinema and great films
In the afternoon, you continue to Zagora and the dunes, where you will have a camel ride to watch the sunset and dine in the dunes at the bivouac of the nomad tents where you will spend the night.
Day 2 : Zagora – Tamgroute – M’Hamid El Ghizlane
Breakfast then visit the village of Tamegroute, 18km from Zagora, which houses the underground Kasbah and one of the oldest Koranic libraries in Morocco. Departure to M’Hamid. Once arrived at Erg Lihoudi’s Dunes you will enjoy an hour-long camel ride and in the evening you will watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight in bivouac at M’Hamid.
Day 3 : M’Hamid El Ghizlane – Taznakht – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, you leave the desert towards Marrakech via the village of Taznakht renowned for its Berber carpets. Lunch break at Ait Benhaddou village before continuing to Marrakech
